Today during our day off, we had an healthy and super tasty lunch at baobad restaurant in corralejo. A great place to get good food!!!!
Alex had a sandwich with alfafa and avocado, and Sophie had a fresh salad ! very yummy !!! Alex, Sophie and Nayra are going to Hawaii the whole month of February(until 15th March). The family has selected to replace Alex a brilliant and friendly surf teacher called Andy. Andy speaks fluently English and has very good knowledge of English, German and Spanish. He has a high level of teaching and his reputation is very good. You will have a great time together ! Our surfing courses got even more versatile now!
Skateboarding (longboard carver type) is a valuable tool to improve your balance and your posture on the surfboard.
The feeling on the carver is very similar to the feeling in a wave and during the skating session you can improve and automatise your movements for the water !
Beginners will improve their balance and get a feeling for the whole body movements used in surfing.
Intermediates can learn and improve different techniques like the ‘speed technique’ (to pass a breaking section) and ‘bottom-to-top-turn combinations’ (with compression and decompression of the body while simulation turns on the carver). !
When you return from your holiday, you can keep on training at home with a carver skateboard !

Are you willing to get on board and learn tricks with the European champion of longboardskating Carl Fölster ? This is happening now in Corralejo, with our surf school ! Alex Hülsberg (boss of the school) and 2 youngs from France have followed a session of Carl this week, to improve their technique. It was successful as Carl is not only a friendly guy and a champion, but as well an excellent teacher which adapts his teaching to each individual depending on the level ! Fun and efficient session !
