Covid terms of booking

COVID INFO
To confirm the stay, we require 30% deposit (maximum 200 euros) and the balance due on the day of travel (compared to 50% before covid and the balance due was one week before departure). If you cannot travel due to covid (closed borders, quarantine, illness), you may postpone the trip to another convenient time. We hope you find this approach correct and remain open to dialogue. Thank you for your collaboration.

We will meet you at the main square of Lajares where we will start your training with the carver skate board !

Our surf school is for people willing to learn to surf or keep on learning in a serious way.

What does that mean ? That means that we want to build you up as a great surfer with skills to go into the water safely and with great techniques. We have guests who wants to become independant surfers.

For countries requesting a negative PCR or antigen test upon return from Spain; here is some information for you to get the test done.

There are 2 clinics in Corralejo that offer this service.

BRISAMAR AND CENMED

PCR TEST / 60 to 120 euros / result duration about 1 hour / by appointment
ANTIGEN TEST / 40 euros / duration of the result 20 minutes / by appointment

PCR TEST / 70 euros
ANTIGEN TEST/ 29.17 euros

What is your story ?

THIS IS DOROTHEE
And she is absolutely ripping on that wave ?, on her only 3rd surf class !??

? The story started a few years ago when Dorothee booked some lessons at our academy for Pia, her daughter. Pia was back then a teenager and she has been improving through the years her surf technique, and learnt some life’s phylosophy on dry land with coach Alex ?.
~
Last November, she also participated to her first surf clinic with our academy, a concept to train intermediate to advanced surfers! We’ve been sharing quality time in and out of the water for many years now, Pia is fully part of our ohana ?
~
We’ve seen her growing up, becoming a young and confident woman and a great surfer. Now she is 18 yo and you’ll find her in Fuerteventura shredding the waves ?
~
Last December, we got the pleasant request from Pia to book a surf course for Dorothee. The roles got reversed, the daughter was booking a class for her mother ?. Dorothee is a great student listening well, sportive and after a few days she was as you can see, ripping the wave and enjoying herself. Thanks for joining the experience family S. ! May the ocean bring you a lot of joy ✨

Advice for take off

Great, you’ve managed to gain enough paddling speed to get into the wave.

Now it’s time to get up!

Tip 1: position your hands below your chest instead than on the board rails to get the strength to stand up

Tip 2: look up ! It will help to take off

Tip 3: close your legs along the board,

Tip 4 : Join your knees and press hard on the board with your thighs for support.

Let’s go !

These last 2 weeks have been epic in term of the quality of the surf and yes, the winter swells have arrived, but we continue to enjoy extremely pleasant temperatures both on land and in the water!

SURF COACHING FOR JEREMIE
