La mayoría de los surfistas viven en armonía con la naturaleza, en simbiosis con las mareas y el oleaje, y tienen una casa cerca del mar y un coche adaptado a su estilo de vida para transportar las tablas y dormir en la playa.

Surf clinic for low intermediate surfers

We have 2 surf clinics planned this year ;

  • 6th March
  • 25th MayWhen the surf course is generally for beginners, that kind of coaching allows intermediate/advanced surfers to get confidence and technique. The program includes carver skate, surf coaching at the beach and reef break, & surf guiding sessions.

New in 2017 : A skateboard session is integrated into your surf course

Skateboarding (longboard carver type) is a valuable tool to improve your balance and your posture on the surfboard !

The feeling on the carver is very similar to the feeling in a wave and during the skating session you can improve and automatise your movements for the water !

Beginners will improve their balance and get a feeling for the whole body movements used in surfing.
Intermediates can learn and improve different techniques like the ‘speed technique’ (to pass a breaking section) and ‘bottom-to-top-turn combinations’ (with compression and decompression of the body while simulation turns on the carver). !

We are pleased to welcome Nina as our yoga instructor for this autumn/winter season ! Nina teaches a relaxing yoga and also a meditation one upon request. The sessions of yoga are in Corraljeo, Cotillo and Lajares.
